Christening candle & matching card

Got a call last Wednesday from my DS could I do a christening as he was to be godfather so made the card . Friday I get a call "Ma can you pick up christening gift as I have to work Sat"so went down town for a look. There was not a whole lot of a choice, S in the end I decided to make a personalised candle. I made 6 attempts before I got it right. I printed on tissue first and tried to heat it on to the candle but for some reason it wouldnt work. Then I printed on velum and eventually got it right . The gift was well received

Cards for Wales

Here are over forty cards I have been making to bring with me to Wales in two weels . My daughter is having a stall in her local fair in Caldicot and am going to try sell some of my cards. mo.st of these I coloured in while my wrist was in plaster so it was just a matter of putting them together,which took longer than planned. But they are done now

Tassels

Loved this belly dancer image. The tassels were made from ribbon, I frayed the ribbon and put a knot in the middle to make it look like a tassel, a little bit time consuming but looks ok

One for the girls

This is the card I hope to enter in Creative Craft Cottage Challenge, One for the girls. One of my favorite Lacy Sunshines images ( yes I have loads). The patterned paper is from a pack  picked up in Lidl and image coloured in with promarkers

Sunshine in the Rain

This image is a from Saturated Canaary part of Buncha digis, 9 lovely images for $8 great value. As soon as I saw this one I knew it hat to have yellow wellies. The lovely colourful backing card came from alovely pack I got in TK Max not somewhere I would have thought of to buy crafting supplies. But I got two lovely packs with 48 pages of lovely card 12x12 for €9.99 great value and very different.

I started this blog to post all the lovely cards I have been making recently. I started making cards over 10 years ago. They are my hobby and I really love the reaction I get when I make a really special one. I make them for family & friends.No two are the same and I love doing special requests and personalised ones. Lacy Sunshines 1920 Winter Abby

Bought this image last night and just had to colour it in . Very happy with result . The papers have been in my stash for ever think they have a vintage look about them so match the image its so much easir getting paper together first & then colouring , I have been doing the opposite all a long and it isn't so easy to match afterwards
